Who we are
Birds of Paradise is a group dedicated to uplifting marginalized genders, raising awareness about equality in gaming, providing safe spaces both online and at conventions as well as funding creators to travel when they ordinarily could not do so.
What we do
WE PROMOTE each other’s voices, as well as the voices of other people of marginalized genders, within gaming spaces.
WE PROVIDE opportunities within gaming spaces to people of marginalized genders through micro-grants for attending large gaming events, networking, internal committee involvement, and content collaboration.
WE PRACTICE our core values (Diversity, Excellence, Community, Knowledge, and Safety) through initiatives like competitive tournaments, mentorship programs, safe play spaces, mixers, and fundraisers.

Our mission is to create safe spaces in Magic the Gathering by welcoming people of all genders and identities to our tables. As a revolving collective of players and creators, we aim to highlight marginalized voices and content in our community.
